boarding school would be so much fun if you could handle being away from your friends and family

Boarding schools are often romanticized, it can be very difficult to be away even if you are independent, if you have been homeschooled i would guess that the adjustment will be difficult so consider this very carefully, going to private school can be just as academically rewarding and be less stressful because you dont have all of the other things to deal with. Doing summer programs and things like that can also give you plenty of new and exciting experiences while being less permanent. there are always upsides to boarding school as well but i would continue to look very closely at your options and dont be blinded by romantic visions. i really hope this helps, good luck, and im sure you will succeed wherever you go.
