What is middle school?
I heard about it tonnes online but never have seen one before. I’m in Grade 10 next year. So, it it like after High School and before University?

Middle school is between elementary and high school. Some call it “junior high”. It’s typically grades 6-8.

Some schools (most of them) are broken up by grade levels. A long time ago many schools were broken up with kindergarten through 6th and 7th through 12th. But because the early teen years are very trivial and the 6th graders seem too old for elementary and 7th and 8th seem to young for highschool, middleschools are created. Therefore– middle school is 6th through 8th (in most schools) and marks the mid point between elementary and highschool.

it is actually gr6-8 and it is only in the usa as far as i know. i’m not sure if it is manditory, i think there are elamentary schools jk-8.
