senior year is awesome! but don’t get too caught up in the fun- you still need to do college applications, scholarships, grad requirements and etc. yes, it’s a lot of fun, but can be very stressful. and no, senioritis (laziness) is not a myth. trust me, you do not want to leave everything last minute. balance your time and make sure you get your deadlines in so the last months of school, you can relax. oh, be prepared to cry. i don’t care if you are a guy. at our senior good-bye rally, nearly everyone was in tears. it’s one of the best years of your life!

12th Grade is all how you spend it and make it to be. It can be the best or the worst year of your life. Frankly I chose to have a Senior year, while it was uneventful I can’t say it wasn’t fun at times. Many people I knew were taking AP courses to hop out of their college generals. Taking an AP course isn’t a bad idea but I wouldn’t recommend taking too many. Too much AP is way stresful. And yes senioritus does exist. Trust me I know. Be careful don’t get too lazy and too careless. I say balance your courses, take classes that are fun and intrest you and take classes that will help you in your secondary education.

It is not like any other year of high school. But you do have to work just as hard. Don’t leave everything to the last minute because that will cause more stress for you and you don’t need it. There is a lot more freedom, fun & excitement. But do not lack on what needs to be done. I just graduated, and some things I left to the last minute and it could cost you your diploma; so it stresses you out. Just do what you have to do to get out, and have fun doing it. And yes, you do get more lazy this year, but try to fight it. This will not be an easy task, but try.. And don’t listen to past graduates about teachers; because a lot of times they lie. Let me know how things go..
