Schools are places where you learn how to be a life long learner, and the importance of being a life long learner. For me school was a haven in a stormy sea, a place of comfort and often welcome solitude. If I could have made a living doing it, I would have been a student in school all my life. I have been a learner all my life.

I think after about 10th grade high school becomes completely pointless because the programs are still generic and by that age most teenagers know what direction they’d like to explore for future careers and since they know that I think there should be transition schools between highschool and college and in these transition schools the programs are more personalized and focused and each school has its own specialty area(s) where students go to that school specifically to study that program…
if that happened students would be more interested in school and would try harder…
I think younger grades are important though because they build up to the older ones which build your future

I know lots of people who think school is gay and hates whoever invented such a place. But to me it is home, partly because I’ve been to the same school for 12 years (since pre-school) and partly because the teachers and my friends are lovely, my classmates are supportive, and my boyfriend is there. It is a completely different world to my boring life at home.

Unfortunately, schools in the United States are lagging behind just about every educational system compared with other industrialized countries.
Why is this…?
Because stupid people are easier to control.

Educate yourself and never stop learning.

Probably was the best time of my life too. You didn’t need to worry about anything else besides going to school everyday.
