I know it can destroy people’s lives. It can also change neuro pathways in the brain causing the victim to be live constant anxiety/fear and depression. It can hamper one’s self image leading to bulimia and anorexia. It may also lead to vulnerability to sexual abuse and may cause Borderline personality disorder. It may also lead one to self harm and suicide.
Borderline personality disorder is a disorder that causes distortions in one’s self image, fear of being abandoned, rocky relationships and black and white thinking (either it’s all good or all bad)
People who are constantly bullied may cause substance abuse which may cause a variety of mental disorders such as Bi-polar.
Bullying is a VERY serious matter and should be addressed right away.

Well there’s a bully and a victim involved. Usually the victim is so scared of the bully that he/she doesn’t tell a teacher/principal. soon or later the victim snaps on the bully and causes more problems.

Bullying is a REPEATED, INTENTIONAL act that causes physical, psychological, or emotional harm to someone. A random comment that someone said would not be considered bullying. There are a lot of studies out there about the subject.
