In my school there is a thing called spirit week. It is when everyday of the week there is a certain trend for everyone to dress up as. Idk if you like the idea, but it works fairly well in our school. Some examples are superhero day and beach day. Its fun to see how creative some people can be with their clothes.

I say, first of all, FUNDRAISERS! Raise money with bake sales, maybe even just saving your own money, or whatever to get new equipment or do some kind of dance or something. You can also plan a day where you do something like a trip to Six Flags or something. It really depends if your in elementary school, middle school, or high school and your school rules and regulations. My school has many student organized bake sales and fundraisers (electives are required, and many people try to raise money) and we can organize class trips for our class. But not many other schools allow that (that I know of). =]

I’d disband the council. They don’t realize not everyone likes overly cheery conformist bullshit so if I was on there I’d do the complete opposite. If anybody didn’t like it they could go to hell.
