Highschool kids should be able to pack their own lunch. Provide a variety of sandwich fillers, fruit, raw veggies, and healthy snack items for them to choose from and let them make their own lunch.

A $10 dollar bill. Anything else and they will give you neverending grief. I only gave mine $3. They had to make do with the lunch plate or use their own money to get the other goodies. Good luck.

Your best to ask your kids. My kids prefer to have leftovers than sandwiches, etc., I just make sure I make extra for everyone.
