What are some ways today in school that… (details inside)?

I cant stop worrying about people judging by my weight. I think everyone is doing it. Like today noone dissed me, they complimented my shoes. And said “those is fresh”. But some were still picking on me from middle school, mainly like 4 kids. I came home crying because of that big loud enviroment. I cant stand it. I think I have social anxiety. The teacher says “Im going to call your name and your going to tell me something unique about yourself”. I dont know what to say. But luckily she never called my name and said “we’ll do the rest tommorow”. so hopefully she will forget about it today lol.

Weight is a slight health risk, but that’s about all. It doesn’t stand in the way of getting married, having a job or being successful. In fact you’ll find in the work place ALL older people tend to get fat, because they eat like they are 12 year olds.

If you can control your weight a bit, it’s more healthy for you, but in life no one will make fun of you (that’s only in school — that’s that SOCIALIZATION aspect the naysayers of homeschool talk about and say you must have).

In life you’re judged by how competent you are and how nice a person you are.

And why not go to the thrift store and find a $20 box and learn how to build computers. You know, save you pennies go to CompUSA and buy things to make it better.

High School will never teach you that, only college will do that or schooling on your own. UNSCHOOLING.

I think you could play on your ” computer” hobby.

Since they are pretty normal these days, being good with computers is actually becoming a trait people want – instead of the ” nerd ” type people that are social outcasts.

If you worry about your weight, ask your doctor what would be normal / safe for your age and length.

If you have too much, see if you can fit in a daily ” move ” time.

30 minutes a day, walking, swimming, cycling – that`s all it takes. And, check your intake. When hungry, get an apple, not a candy bar.

I have found great relief from seeing a cognative therapist. At your age I would have been anxious about being called on also. A cognative therapist will help you learn to relax in otherwise situations which are otherwise stressful for you. Their job is to give you simple effective tools to stop thinking in a way that makes these situations worse. That won’t help you for tomorrow. So for now write out something in the morning so you have something to fall back on when you get called on. Is there an adult you can talk to who knows you and would help?

dont worry about what people say about you. My parents always told me to ignore people who says bad things about you.Maybe they are just jealous. Think positive about yourself and remember your perfect just being yourself and just say what you love like ” i love computers ” and start saying why you like them .

Sorry tubby, people always judge on sight, ALWAYS…

Get your @ss on a tredmill, leave the computers alone and work off your fat gut while your young and still able to do so.
