Adopt Families at holiday time.

Food drives and delivery to shelters.

Winter clothing drives and delivery.

Turkey Shoot.

School Carnivals.

Sponsored a Homecoming Bonfire.

Created a haunted house.

Blood Drives.

Student/Staff sporting events (volleyball, basketball)

Open Gyms

Sell school stickers for car windows.

powderpuff football game.

Volunteered for elementary schools’ field days as ref’s, face painting, etc…

School lock in to decorate the school for homecoming week/dance.

Have spirit weeks.

End of year field trips: pro baseball games, amusement parks, dave and busters, etc…

Rose and carnation sale around valentines day.

Xmas- Grams/ candy canes sales to be delivered to students’ classes.

Have a what’s going on section in the school newspaper to advertise upcoming events.

Assemblies.

You are to be congratulations in asking this question and in attempting to fulfill your duties as president. You are limited in what you can do. Class trips are usually popular. perhaps some new extra-curricular activity is needed. Money is always needed. Think of fund raising activities. You may have to for legal reasons work together for this with the Parents Association. You should work with them for other reasons as well. Your Council has an adviser. Find out from him and from students who have been in your school what activities they particularly enjoyed. Try those again. Take a poll in your school students faculty and parents may have good ideas. Good luck and keep an open mid which you apparently have.
