Getting lost. (well..some people don’t if you go to the “open- house thingy”)

Some kids in the older grades might be like “OH..look at the sixth graders!” But most of them are nice,though. Just compare your schedule with friends and go to that same class together. Ask anyone that works at the school if you do not know what to do.

The first day is always a TOTAL DRAG…but DON’T WORRY!

By the end of the week…it’ll get MUCH better.

You’ll be a pro in no time.

My 5th grade teacher told me this and I was like yeah right…but to my surprise it turned out to be true!

Hey im so with ya there! You might wanna make your own outfit cuz if you go to mall your only gonna see stuff made by other ppl with different style,try to get one of the clothes you already have now and decorate it with pins or sow some of the cool fabrics you can think of,everyone has theyre own style,try to show ppl yours,you never know who might come to you on the first day and check it out,but if you dont wanna do that and you dont got lots of cash then go into a mall and buy some accerseries,the more the better,you know how they say bling bling,well show some of yours. I bet your gonna be looking like a tottal rockstar,tell me what ya think and how it works out. Srtut it,remember that!

Oh, Destiny, don’t worry about it so much…you’ll just see a bunch of other kids who maybe worried about it too much too!

Make eye contact with one or two kids you like to look of if you can, smile, maybe say hello… and remember that making new friends takes time. Be choosy, because you’re already a cool kid. Pay attention in classes…Showing interest in your school subjects right away gets the teachers to like you and, I think, you’ll find you like the idea of learning new subjects, too!

Plus, by paying attention, you’re not wasting time worrying.

I’ve heard it said that worry is one of the Most wasted emotions, because it’s always about the future, which never happens exactly as you worry it will!

A lot of new things. It is a big transition, but the work doesn’t realy pile on until about 2 weeks after starting. Every other 6th grader is int he same position so you shouldn’t worry.

if ur in middle school now a big change ur the youngest now and people are very distracting you should expect a lot of swearing of course and open discussions from your teachers about things like growing up and chnages im a 7th grader now and i say people will start treating u as an adult when ur in trouble but a little kid when ur being serious. i say expect things uve never seen b4 and b ready to make good choices

haha, first day? You can really only expect people to be clinging to one and another, since it’s your first day of middle school. You can believe me and every other member on YahooAnswers.com, that no one will bully you on the first day, no matter what. Maybe later on in the year, but on the first day, you won’t. Get used to your new school, and also, don’t use “I got lost” as an excuse for your tardiness on your new teachers, they won’t believe it. Trust me, I know it from experience lol.

It’s pretty tough, because you’re entering middle school, but it’s here that you meet your true friends and companions that will probably remain with you through high school. Be good in class and do your work, you’ll be fine. And expect.

well i just got out of 6th grade and my first expression was wow this is awesome switching classes and stuff.But it mostly is what school your going to. if your new then just chill and dont worry sooner or later youll make friends.

been there done that same as any first day your just an year older and at a different school
