I’m gonna be in the student council this year. I just wanted to know what exactly we do in the student council ??

I was in student council last year…basically you just volunteer at different places like animal shelters and hospitals to get community service hours and help out around the school…like make posters to advertise for special events or do fundraisers to raise money for the club…using all the money we made last year we organized and funded the end of the year dance. So basically you do things like that, decide what’s right for your school- whether its cleaning up the school itself or cutting down on homework…hope this helps 🙂

It’s different for every school, but you are part of committees that help plan events for the school, including homecoming and prom. You act as leaders of the school, so you are in a lot of leadership activities. You also do a lot of fundraising type things. It’s alot of fun and it’s a great way to get to know other leaders in the school.
