Skip Summer School?

I was supposed to talk to my counselor on the last day of school but I forgot to. SO I was wondering if I can just skip summer school. I had a D+ with just a .5% from C- and I don’t know if I should. My friend said it’s okay and she’s pretty smart so help please. I had a D+ in english. I’m 7 going to 8th grade.

No, skipping summer school is not an option. The fact that you’re .5% from a C-is not good either. Your friend isn’t that intelligent if she’s telling you “it’s okay” to skip summer school. Obviously, your English skills are in need of help. Saying you “forgot” to talk to your counselor is a lie–you chose NOT to see your counselor. If you don’t go, it will come back to hurt you in the end.

well, I had a D- in middle school for English too for both semesters for my 7th grade. What really matters if you do well in your high school years, but the university system runs differently, but it really matters if you signed up to repeat English 7 for summer school, if not then you dont have to.

If you don’t have anything terribly important to do during the summer, I’d take summer school. Your marks in 7th aren’t going to affect your life much, but if you’re having trouble with a subject its best not to fall behind.

If you don’t go ahead and try to get into summer school and pull that grade up. If you don’t, you may find yourself facing another years of seventh grade. Go ahead and get it over with now and don’t wait.

it depends, will your school hold you hack if you don’t go? if not then don’t worry about it. middle school isn’t very important anyway (in terms of the rest of your life … colleges won’t see your middle school grades nor will they care)
