Should I take History or Geography???
Doing IB:
I really want to take History, but my current teacher hates my guts and I think i’ve got a bad reputation with the hist. department in my school…..and I’m REALLY sensitive 🙁 🙁 🙁
Topics for next year include Russia, Europe, Stalin
I like Geography, but you don’t get as many credits as History (i think) ?? Topics include population. globalisation, resources
HELP!!!!!!
Once I choose – I’m stuck with the subject for 2 years!!!

Take History. Ignore whether or not teachers or fellow peers like you. You’re not there to impress. You’re there to LEARN!
Besides, History is WAY better than Geography. By far!

I say take history. History doesn’t change and geography is a constantly changing subject. A country which is here today may be gone tomorrow. Don’t let the teacher thing get you down. The teacher may not even have a problem with you and good teachers won’t let what one teacher says about a student affect their feelings towards that student. Plus, if it’s really what you want to take, there shouldn’t be too much of a debate.
