I am going into independent study for next year..(8th grade) what do i do in it?
i swim at least 12 hours a week so i’m excused from p.e. and get a free period
what do i do in that period
homework?
what happnes if it’s first/last day of school=no homework?

In my school during that they just roamed the halls and sat in the library and played on the computers all day. Maybe you should ask if you could be a teachers helper that’s always fun especially if the teacher is hot lol hope you figure it out..

You study independently. It’s not free time for you to dawdle. This is good training for college when you will be responsible for managing your study time. High school is just around the corner. Spend the time reviewing your classwork and organizing yourself. The more you get done on school time, the less you have to do at home. At least go read a book in the library.

Your supposed to do homework in it, but if you don’t have any you just have to sit there or go on the computers if they have any.
