high school is quite a bit more work than middle school, thats for sure.

it seems like a big deal, but if ur a good students, and youve got some common sense, then you’ll be okay.

y’all probly have a freshman orientation day, right? or a day where you can get ur schedule and learn where all ur classes are.

dont worry! there are other kids in the exact same situation as you. trust me, i was there last year, and i made it through with no problems! one thing that i would warn you of is, high school is more competitive than middle school in grades, especially if you are in a great school and top classes. so if you want to be at the top, dont let up. keep working all the way through.

You will do ‘just as well’ in High School as you did in your elementary school … if the ‘work’ was easy when you were in elementary, it will be ‘easy’ when you are in High School. Try to work out a good ‘study schedule’ that leaves you time to do the ‘extra curricular activites’ and just hang with your friends, though … and always remember that GRADES come first, then ‘the other stuff.’ This is really just the ‘middle’ of your education, since you are going to go to a university, correct? So if you can ‘think of it as ‘middle school’ you may feel less anxious than if you think about it being HIGH school … something about that HIGH makes people afraid when they really shouldn’t be.

Oh, wow, that’s a toughie. Let’s see…..uhm, first off, you may want to look in on what exactly you’re gonna be learning. If you have an older sibling, ask them. But ingeneral, just make sure you know your Algebra inside and out (trust me, without it, math class is gonna seem real hard to understand). English is instinct, History, well, not much can prepare you for that and science……Good luck with that one ^^;….sorry I can’t help you with much.

you really have nothing to worry about. i’m now in 10th grade and the switch from my middle school was big too. but high school is so much fun (and usually a lot better then middle school) and you can always switch out of your advanced classes. you will get used to it so don’t worry and have a great time.

Don’t worry about it, high school is not that hard. Everyone else in your class will be scared as well, it is there 1st time in high school. If you want to make sure you do well, try to get along with your teachers.

Aww… no no dont worry .. highschool is not tht different then elementary …. if u did good in tht then u’ll be just fine at highschooll …. dont worry …. i know its a new place everyone gets jitters….. and just remember tht everyone around you will be in the same situation … everyones gonna be new at the school and nervous … so dont worry ur not alone at all….

don’t be scared …i remember when i first went to high school, i was so nervous, then after a while i started getting to people which made it easier for me .if its the work thats scaring you… you should’nt have ne problems since you have good grades and so on… so on…

just try to get to know people and school over there will fill like you was like at your old school!

Dont be scarred high school aint no different its the same as middle school just that every one is older and in ur case smarter

If you get in the classes and after doing your best feel you are in over your head talk to the counselor…i’m sure you’ll be fine…good luck

high school is not a big deal at all i went to 3 different high school and they r all the same ! u will still have your friends w/ u so i wouldnt worry about it
