Compare minimum wage for a lifetime with a high-performance career wage

1. Calculate minimum wage for a lifetime:

$( )/hr x 40 hrs/wk = $( ) x 50 wks/year = ( ) x 40 yrs = $( )

2. Calculate high-performance income over a lifetime:

$ ( )/yr x 40 yrs = $ ( )

3. Subtract minimum wage for a lifetime from a high performance lifetime career income:

Min, Wage:

$7.15/hr x 40 hrs/wk = $268 x 50 wks/yr = $14,300 x 40 yrs = $572,000

High-Performance:

$19.50/hr x 40 hrs/wk = $780 x 50 wks/yr = $39,000 x 40 yrs = $1,560,000

$1,560,000 – $572,000 = $988,000 difference in salaries

If you need more work than that, then just write out your multiplication.

It seems you have all the work here. Just plug in the numbers

1. Calculate minimum wage for a lifetime.

(7.15)(40)(50)(40)=$5,720,000

2. Calculate high performance income over a lifetime:

(19.50)(40)(50)(40)=$1,460,000,000

you may want to check with a calculator. I couldn’t find mine.
