gosh yeah its ridiculous…they should focus more on getting you guys not to curse.and spelling

not a damn thing lol. heres where growing up and making grown desicions suck. you can either abide by the rules and get your scholarship and just focus on school or you can hug a guy in school that could easily wait till after school. the sad fact is authorities are running out of **** to cry about. but being that your in a christian school i can kind of understand the issue. id say just follow the rules and do what you want on your time and they cant say anything. public schools have uniforms, tucked in shirts, no gang related colors, and then you grow up and go to work and you cant hug ANYONE or even say how nice a member of the opposite sex looks without having to write a statement about the “offfense” when some random person no one even saw reports you for sexual harrassment. it never changes, so just get used to it

Private schools hold the right to make rules as they please, even if they are completely stupid. As far as I know, you can’t stop them from trying to enforce there rules. Many other schools are going even further in their separation of the sexes so it could be worse. One thing I think you can watch for is any unequal treatment of one sex or the other. (this will be much more powerful however if it is the female students being mistreated). If you can prove some form of discrimination, then these rules can come under fire. Otherwise, I think your stuck. i would look to see if anyone else has ever contested such a school mandate before and what happened to them.

you can start a petition and ask them for what you guys would think would be fair. my sis-inlaw is in high school and they get in to trouble hugging even someone of the same gender . well good luck hope they can reach some kind of agreement with you ! it is kind of a stupid rule!
