If your school gives you a paper w/ your locker combination, ID number, etc. on it, you can fold it up and put it in there, too.

On second thought, if you carry a purse (and are allowed to at school; some of the schools I substitute teach in don’t allow students to carry purses or bags to class), you might not need to keep quarters, pens, pencils, or a brush in your locker. Still, it might be a good idea to have a backup.

The middle schools I substitute teach for give students lockers. They have a regular locker, a PE locker, and a band locker (if they are in band). A previous poster was correct about some schools not giving students a locker, but the six middle schools I’ve been in recently provides students with a regular locker.

You might need like some kind of an organizer to store and hang stuff.
