New Student HELP!!!!?
i am a new student at a public school and i’ve never been to public school. I don’t kno anyone and they all exclude me and my friend is in all diff. classes. Cuz all the others are of diff. ethnicities and have their own groups already since i started in the later grades. So i don’t know how to fit in like in lunch and hang out w/ others?

This is going to take a little time. But if you are a friendly person and wear a smile… well, who can resist a person like that??? You will make friends and soon will have your own lunch group, too. In the meantime, realize that they are not intentionally excluding you; it’s just that they don’t know you yet. As you get settled into your classes and students get familiar with one another, soon you’ll hear other classmates calling your name. It won’t take long!!!

it’ll be weird for you for a while but you’ll get used to it!
be brave and talk to anyone who you think looks nice and ask “hey do you know where Room 526 is??”
