School is about learning, not socializing, and I believe it may be best to just deal with your current lack of friends (try talking to someone new, you could find that it’s really not as bad as you think it is). The curriculum could be different too, and there are a lot of things you could miss when you transfer. Keep your future in mind- the high school drama completely melts away once it’s over and you’re faced with the real world. You will realize how stupid it all was once the kid games are over.
I hate to say this, but if you don’t have many friends at your current high school, then the same problem will occur at the school in which you want to attend. The problem may lie in the way you treat people. Ask yourself if you are being open to people, allowing them to become your friend. Live life like there is no tomorrow. Don’t worry about next year, worry about the matters at hand and have fun.
If you continuously run from your problems at this early of an age, it will become a habit that will stick with you for the rest of your life. Buckle down, talk to the people who you’ve never noticed before, you’d be surprised how many people you would actually get along with.
