Nerous about going into high school?

Ok so I know school just started. I am in the 8th grade and I’m not exactially brillant. I have allot of trouble in 8th grade algrebra, and other stuff like reading comperation etc. I am afraid that when I get into high school I will fail and not be able to graduate from high school and I will be a loser with no job. I would ask the teachers for help but they arn’t paseint with helping. Please help me

first of all work on getting through eighth grade, math wasnt my strong subject but im doing fine in high school also you should enjoy your last year in eighth grade, have fun, keep your grades balanced.

if your going into high school instead of being nervous, be excited. you meet so many new people and (most) of the teachers are willing to help you out in your first year. dont worry your overthinking the situation, youll do fine and you will graduate and no matter what youll make friends.

and dont fall into the cliques where if your not in one your a losrer, as long as your ok and you have fun with your friends no one has the right to label you a loser 🙂

good luck in high school but to get there you gotta finish eighth grade!!! study hard and have fun!

I am a Junior this year, and right before I went to high school, I felt just the same way! I BARELY passed in middle school! How was I gonna pass any in high school!? I was so scared to go to high school! It was so bad I convinced my mom to homeschool me!!

I was homeschooled for a year and a half, and really tryed but was afraid I wasnt up to level with other kids my age.

In the middle of my Sophomore year of high school, I decided I was ready to go to high school, and I was SO SCARED! It makes it worse being the “new girl”.

My first class was math. I thought I was really going to have to get caught up, but when she started teaching, i realized IT WAS SO EASY! I was so far ahead of everyone else!

Circumstances are different for you, but the same principle can be applied. You dont know how it is going to be until you get there. MOST high school teachers want you to succeed, and will help you with any problems you may have. If they wont, then go see your counselor. He/She can hook you up with a tutor or a teacher for some extra help. Also, ask kids around you. Sometimes, kids your own age can explain things to you in a way you can better understand.

No matter what, if you try, you will graduate high school and you wont be a loser. This question shows how much you care. You seem truly concerned! Just have a good, positive (I can do this), attitude, and you will do great!

GOOD LUCK!

if you are very serious about this, the best thing would probably get a tutor.

but since u haven’t gotten into high school yet, there might be some teachers in ur high school that are more willing to help you. its good that ur worried about it this early, in my high school, some people don’t realize it until senior year and then they’re screwed and have to go to adult school.

there are also a lot of high school courses that are at different levels, so u might be in a class where u r better off then u were in junior high.

but most of all, just try ur very best and show ur teachers that u truly care about graduating and getting good grades and they should be more willing to sit down with u and help u out

if you just keep working your hardest and put as much effort as you can into your classes then that is all that matters. high school is probably going to be harder but i think the teachers are more willing to help the students out. if not then ask if you can switch your schedule around to get a teacher who would actually spend some one on one time with the students. that is their job after all. if not see if there is someone in a class that can help you out by tutoring you. if your parents are willing to pay, you can also get professional tutoring help.

the more you spend with the material and more you make sure you not only know how to solve the problems, but understand why you had to solve it that way with this certain method will really help out. i’m in college and i have found that memorizing everything doesn’t cut it for me. i have to go online or into books and read up on why things are done this way or why this formula is used for this situation. it has brought my grades up alot!

no, no don’t be worried yet. It does take a little while to get adjusted. when school starts, teachers push a lot on you to make sure people will be in the right levels

the important thing is to do your work, go to class, and try to manage your problems to specific questions. Then ask teachers and your classmates these questions the moment you have them! teachers are paid to answer your questions

if you have trouble with the workload, go over to someone’s house when they’re working on it, or invite them over. have some fun and then snack and do homework then

Going into extreme college isn’t that frightening. I rember whilst i advance into in 8th grade on the element to bypass to the H.S. and that i bear in mind one million of my buddies crying because of the fact we weren’t going to all be interior a similar type. yet we used to dangle out interior the mornings in the previous type and at lunch and after type. you may lose touch with some buddies yet you will additionally income alot extra. Plus you may or would possibly no longer stay along with your boyfriend yet bear in mind there are alot extra fish interior the pond and alot of gorgeous adult males to dangle out with once you get to there. save your innovations open for each thing, yet be real to what you elect. solid success
