Need fun lesson plans or activities for ESL student.?

I am a teacher working one-on-one with an ESL student. I am teaching him English. He speaks Spanish. I have no ESL books or any materials to work with. He speaks very little English and I only know how to ask for a lemonade in Spanish. I was wondering if anyone has any lesson plans, fun activities, or websites for free lesson plans. He is 18 but at a 6th grade academic level. Any suggestions are welcome.

I like to play ESL games with the students. It makes class fun and the best way to help someone learn a language is to motivate them to speak and think for themselves, rather than all the repetition. Most games can be adapted for a single student. Here are links to some of my favorites:

Wait until you get there and see what they want you to do. In many cases, they only want the native speaker to teach speaking and listening, not grammar (which is good because most native speakers can’t explain the grammar). If you are in a middle or high school, it’s possible you will only see each group of students once a week. You’ll need to work with the Chinese teachers of English to see what they are covering, then do oral activities with that language. I don’t see anywhere in your lesson plan where you have students practicing the language you’re modeling and presenting. 15 minutes is too long a presentation for beginning students. The idea of a warm up is very good. In many schools, there are 50-60 students per class. You’ll have trouble doing any activity that requires cards or supplies in 5 minutes.
