Hmmmm………..if I’m not mistaken Academic means high-level “general” classes. The junior high and high school I went to divided classes into Basic, Applied, Academic, Honors, and Advanced Placement. Applied and Academic are nothing to be ashamed of at all!

It is a letter from the school district, your school and teacher stating that you have passed 5th grade and have been placed into the 6th grade. If you were to attend special education classes you would have attened meeting with the 6th grade special ed staff and your parents, disscussing your goals for this comming year. Good luck have fun in Middle School!

Are you entering the 6th grade, or just a different middle school? Either way, it most likely means that your acedemic standards are at a 6th grade level, and Unless I know more, I can’t tell you whether it’s good or bad, but it means you are at 6th grade in all subjects,(or that’s what it would mean where I live.)

Firstly, I’d like to congratulate you for passing elementary school! You have no idea how many children fail fifth grade in the U.S.
As for your question…what exactly does the letter say? Or could you roughly illustrate what it says? I think that it is some sort of class…I don’t know for sure, but that’s what it sounds like. Once you provde me with more info, I will try to assist you further.
