Is there any way i can go to a school in a different district?

what arguement could i present to the board of education (or who ever deals with school districts) to covince them to allow me to go to a school in another district?

-could i tell them that i would be out of place because 98% of the students belong to a diffrent race? And that it would be very hard for me to socialize?

You can try any reason you can think of… sports, music, not feeling safe… that ever works. It’s tough! Best bet is to see if you can get a scholarship to attend a private or parochial school near there. You could try to use an address of a family member or friend that lives in another district… kids do that all the time here, but the transportation is your problem. Good Luck.

Hi, I would think it would depend where you live. I go to school in a different district but that’s because I use a different address. Here in FL you have to get on a waiting list I think. The school I wanted to go to would take years to get into.

I think going to the school board would be a good idea. Though your argument might need to be revamped. The reason I left my school was that I was the minority, and they did not treat me as a human. Also my education was being jepordized. Something you could say would be about your education and how you can’t learn because of the other students. It’s an argument, and I wish you much luck!

Sure, you could say that. If that’s your reason, then that’s your reason. I go to school in a different district and my reasons were that transportation to those schools were easier. I feel more comfortable in that area. I have many friends in that district than friends in the district i live in. I feel i can achieve more in that district than the district i live in. You can make some stuff up… most of the things i said was stretching the truth… i simply just dont want to go to school in the district i live in.

you need to physically LIVE in that particular district, anywhere else you’ll have to pay tuition fee

you can’t do an argument unless you were the child of some super famous celebrity or politician

if you really dislike the schools in your current district, move somewhere else, I recommend you move to new york city because we’ve got some of best schools here,
