Is it worth doing it?

Ok so my school is pretty strict…its a catholic high school

Seniors dont ususlly do senior pranks but my class really wants to do one…were a small class (47 people)…and we have 3 pranks we wanna do…they would be big ones but we wouold most def get in trouble..we wanna lock the teachers parkng lot so that they cant get it…have a senior skip day have annoying loud sirens go off……

we would get in trouble..and we thought that since all of us would do it then w wouldnt get in that much trouble since theres so many of us

my parents arent happy with me doing it but ive been waiting for this since i was a freshman…

Is it worth doing a senior prank that i’ve been waiting 4 years for even if i know i will get in some kind of trouble?

Those kinds of ‘pranks’ are not in the least bit funny. Just because there are 47 of you, don’t think that you can’t ALL get into trouble, because you can.

You would all be better off if you resisted the temptation to do those stupid things.

I personally don’t think it’s worth it, but that’s b/c I was over high school before I ever left it. You can’t guarantee that everyone will actually go along with it, so there’s a risk of just you and some other people getting caught & getting into some kind of trouble. You also have to consider what KIND of trouble you’d get into. Would they decide to take away your prom or ban you from going? Since it’s a strict Catholic school, I would think that their idea of “extreme punishment” is much different from a public school’s idea.

On that note, a Senior Skip Day is pretty run-of-the-mill at most schools. If you can get your parents to write a note (since they know about the pranks), there’s nothing they can do if you’re out (as long as you don’t say, “I wasn’t really sick, I just skipped). I don’t think you’d get in much trouble if you skipped like that. Instead of locking the parking lot (which would royally tick me off if I were a teacher. You work hard all day w/a bunch of high schoolers only to be locked out of the parking lot, making you late picking up your own kids, getting stuck in heavy traffic, etc.- that’s just mean)…Anyway, instead of locking the parking lot, you could all do smaller things that would be just as much fun. Everyone could set an alarm on their cell phones to all go off at the same time in class (throughout the school), or you could all pick out a “secret word of the day.” Anytime someone said the word, everyone could stand on their desks & say something stupid. Or you could all get up at the exact same time from classes or lunch and dance…Thriller, Superman, Electric Slide, whatever. Something that will be fun but isn’t mean-spirited would be a better prank.

When I was a senior I particpated in a senior skip day but why the other’s they are just going to annoy everyone. Besides if a single individual gets caught you could face major trouble if you are 17-18.

you’ll really get into trouble but that’s just your main purpose of doing it. So, i guess, you just have fun with it. Anyways, what you mentioned are not really that serious distractions. Naughtiness is part of growing up. Enjoy and experience one coz when you gets old, you can no longer be naughty..lol:
