Fresh sweat doesn’t stink. If you have a clean body and sweat out new sweat, it’s fine for a while. It should be fine to wear your basketball excersize clothes for both classes in the same day and wash them in between days. It depends how much time you have to get ready in-between too and whether or not you have to report to home room for attendance.

Plan for the worst of rushing around tomorrow, but talk to your coach. Coaches are the best! You get more freedom in highschool and the coach should be able to give you a pass from reporting to home-room when practice and gym are back-to-back. Going to gym right after practice in the same clothes is perfectly fine! (even if it’s in the same clothes)

Weight room conditioning means your going to lift weights. He may have you try out the free weights or work on the nautilaus machines or use your own body weight (like pull-ups) This is where being on a team is great too, your older teamates will show you how to do each thing and help you figure out how to make the time to do everything.

Just don’t act like you have everything under control when you don’t. Ask for help and you will receive it. Ask the coach and ask your teammates.

First of all, remove the name of your school immediately. You just may have given some on-line predator your exact location two days out of the week… not a smart move, my friend.

Do your conditioning in shorts and a t-shirt, change shirts for gym, shower, change into your school clothes, and off you go.

Yes, you will have extra laundry to do, but not too much. It’s all in favor of good health, so it is totally worth it! You are right not to complain about it yet. If it is an issue after a week, talk to your dad or coach or whoever and see what arrangements can be made. I am sure that the reality of the problem is not nearly as bad as you worry it will be.

Have fun!

You don’t have to take a shower…after you’re done playing just wipe your face and put on a little deodorant if you start to stink. I had to deal with the same thing man in my freshman year because I had gym during the first periods of the day and then I got all sweaty and nasty for the rest of the day. Just make sure you keep yourself clean and you should be good.

Plus…showering in school? I wouldn’t do that =)

Tell the coach in your weight conditioning class that you have gym right after. He will more than likely just let you go straight to gym in the same gym clothes without having to shower.

Well, if your dad doesn’t know your friends parents, then maybe you should talk to them and arrange to have your dad meet them before the party. And then have them explain that it’s just a dinner party and maybe have them say that they’ll be there? Plus if it’s on a friday, maybe explain to him that it’s friday night, no school the next day. Or have all your homework done by the time you go to the party so that he might be more willing to let you go. I hope all this helps. Good Luck.

you’ll be fine… you don’t HAVE TO take a shower… just make sure you have deodorant & maybe some cologne or something if you’re that worried about it. bring a towel that you can wipe your face, and underarms with. bring extra socks & underwear…

weight conditioning is just to bulitd strength… you’re not doign cardio so you probably won’t be too sweaty anyway. you’ll get used to it… just remember that all the other people in there had to do it for the 1st time too…

If you shower in the morning and wear deodorant you probably won’t stink after conditioning, you will just be sweaty. I work outside all day sweating in the sun and although I am sweaty I don’t stink, so a shower may not be necessary unless required.

I wouldn’t worry too much about it. After conditioning and your training you can just put on deodorant and wash your face and you should be fine, and bring a change of clothes. I wouldn’t use the school showers, I don’t know about yours over there but ours are disgusting ;D

Why would you take a shower before you go to gym class?

Pray that God will give you the strength for school and to do what are to do. Then pray for wisdom in how to handle the situation of not knowing how to confront issues. Believe me, it works all the time.
