I was wondering what the requirements are for taking an AP course in high school. or are there none?
I really want to take an AP course next year but now I am in regular social studies, although I have an A in the class and I am the top most likely. Is there anything I have to do or is it that anyone can take it as long as you have the willpower to do it.

Honor classes might help. If you want to take an AP class ask your counsler what must you do. Do not take too many at a time. You only need to try one, less pass one.

Well, im in AP classes. However, my counselors are responsible for that decision, i think it requires a teacher’s recommendation. But if you feel that it is something in which you are capable of, talk to your counselors & im sure they will make arrangments for you.

It depends. It’s up to your high school offering it. Some you may have to apply to and others they will just let you in. I would try and get in touch with an academic counselor at your high school for more information.
