If you’re in the USA, I recommend finding a book called “The Teenage Liberation Handbook: How to Quit School and Get a Real Life and Education” by Grace Llewellyn. You can pick up a copy cheap at www.half.com. This book contains a lot of practical information that can help you in your situation.

No, dont leave school! You are still very young. You need to learn a lot of things and be with your peers. School will make you educated and open-minded, maybe youll discover some better options later. And im 200% sure you will regret if you leave.

getting an education is not just about learning a trade to earn money which seems like the reason you want to leave – cause you have a cushion. you need to stay in school for more than just an education. at 14, you still have many many social skills to learn. you will need these skills in any business. you need to stay in school with your peers in order to learn to adapt to life in general in the future. you will learn teamwork, negotiation, adjusting, i can go on and on… basically im just saying even though you think your life is set financially – there are many more important reasons to stay in school…. you are still just a child

Leaving school at 14??? Sorry, I think that leaving would be the worst possible choice you could make. The message that people would get from that would be….”how immature and what’s wrong with him that he can’t even make it in high school?”

ur only 14 there is still alot u can learn in school, on the other hand there’s alot to learn if you start working and learn from bottom up. However do u plan on working for or with your family forever. if ur not sure u need to stay in school. it will give u options in the future.

you can change the way you get your schooling like university over the Internet but unless your family business involves guns and broken Knee caps then education is important and even then unless you want to stay the enforcer all your life

Please don’t quit school. Someday you will regret it. There is a lot of time left for work. someday you may have a falling out with your family or you may decide you would rather not work in your family’s business. If you complete your school you have options!
