Teachers will probably tell you exactly what kind of pens and pencils to use in their class anyway.

Edit: One more thing to add… if you run out of lead on a mechanical pencial and don’t have any to replace it with. Then you don’t have nothing to write with. If your going to buy mechanical pencials-make sure you have a back up to write with.

you’re new and even if u werent ur not gunna wanna get up in front of all those peeps to sharpen ur pencil- mech pencil lead breaks- shuve another piece in- no biggie- reg pencil breaks- u have to get up while everyone else is sitting using their mech pencils- umm for quicker results- if u break lead, u just jab the eraser to bring more down- u cant do that with a regulay pencil! good luck- both will work- mechanical are just easier!
