The obvious choice, from my point of view, is duPont. Is such a high academinc achievement is required, that implies that it is an excellent learning environment. Trust me, you can still keep in touch with your old friends, and be with new ones as well.

And, the drugs you talked about in Ballard will only increase peer pressure. Although at first duPont will seem alien, you’ll most likely get used to it.

So, as I said, I think you should go for duPont.

Dupont Manual high school would probably be the best for you. You say you need to get good grades to get in dupont high so you will probably hang around kids who stay out of trouble. Also you mom work close by so that will be good for the both of you. I dont think you should go to Ballard high because there are drugs which can destroy your future if you get into that stuff.
