When you search for a job look at the description and ask yourself if you have all that they require. Then check to see who the references are that you are using. Normally people get their first job in the same company where their parents worked (because the parents are the reference) or where their relatives worked, or the family business was handed down, or where their sorority sisters or fraternity brothers are working (they pull in their sisters/brothers). Join some organizations and network, tell everyone what job you’re looking for (doesn’t matter the name of the company, right now you just need the experience).
