The night before:

Decide what to wear and lay everything out.

Be sure toiletries and makeup you intend to use in the morning are close together on or near your bathroom sink.

Make your lunch or put lunch money in your purse.

Recharge electronics batteries in a location near your purse.

Put books, notebooks, etc. in your backpack and place it by the door.

Take a bath or shower.

In the morning:

Put electronic devices in your purse.

Wash, get dressed and put on your makeup before eating.

If you don’t have time to sit down for breakfast, take a granola or fruit bar with you.

If you’re not tied to a particular bus schedule, why not get to school early? You’ll have more time to meet friends, listen to music, finish some homework, read, talk to a teacher, or go to the media center.

Basically, go to bed earlier. While many teens have a late night late morning cycle, the world does not allow you do do that so you may need to manage your sleep patterns. Get major amounts of light in the morning – like 5-10 minutes of full sun in the face – as that helps set your clock and wake you.

I agree that getting your stuff organized the night before will help out a ton in the morning. Also, 5 minutes of stretching/yoga and a small glass of orange juice first thing in the morning will help get you started. The stretching will get your blood flowing and wake up those tired muscles, and the OJ will give your blood sugar a little lift so you can have the energy and focus to get through your morning routine.

Go to bed earlier — there’s nothing on TV at midnight that won’t be there tomorrow

Get up earlier — it helps if your alarm is across the room so you have to get up to turn it off

Get a dog — I got a chihuahua puppy and I’ve started coming home from work, getting ready for bed, making a pb and j and milk and falling asleep to a movie with him curled up in my armpit. He wakes me around 6 or 7 and we’re both rested and refreshed and ready to start the day with a walk in the park. I’m back home by 8 and good to go.

I’m the same way by nature…get every little thing ready before you go to bed. Get out of this habit before you get your first job…for obvious reasons.

A little extra sleep never hurt anyone either. I personally get up in the morning and immediately turn on my favorite CD. It’s a little external motivation to get it moving in the morning.

My dad said he had the same problem to while in school..then he joined the army. Personally, not my solution to the problem.. 🙂 Have a good school year

Make her bedtime quarter-hour previously each and every night till mornings start to get a sprint less difficult. the two she’s no longer getting sufficient sleep and could %. up the %. if she’s feeling extra nicely rested, or she would be able to flow speedier interior the mornings to maintain her bedtime from getting previously and previously. basically for the checklist, I actual have a young person, and he’s not any situation to upward thrust up interior the mornings. in certainty, I actual have 4 boys that could desire to get waiting interior the mornings for college (kindergarten-8th grade) and that they could do each and every thing they could desire to do, contain having breakfast, in below 40 5 minutes. they’re waiting on the door with their coats on in the previous the bus ever shows up.

What i have my girls do is get every thing together the night before, like ironing their clothes putting everything they will need for the next day in one spot so they do not have to look for it in the morning. Going to bed at a descent time helps as well.

Trying setting your alarm for a half hour before you actually have to get up so you have some time to lay in bed and relax.

Another variation of this would be to get out of a bed a little earlier than needed- get some breakfast, (coffee if you drink it), watch TV, catch up on a little work etc.

set out everything the night before. that way you wont spend time in the morning trying to fiigure out what to wear and that will save a ton of time. also have your books. lunch, cell and keys ready too. then all you have to do is get up get dressed and go. and if your friends drive you can put your makeup on in the car.. but not if you are driving.

Get your stuff ready the night before, get up a few minutes earlier if it takes you a while to wake up…and TURN OFF YOUR COMPUTER and go to bed earlier.
