Do you have another locker, just for general stuff (outside of the PE locker room)? Put everything else in there. Or, start going to a chiropractor, and get a doctor’s note that you need to get a second set of textbooks, so you can have one set for the classroom and one set for your house, but don’t have to carry them back and forth until you need to exchange them.

Dude, when I was is middle school, I was a girl, and I was only 70 pounds myself. I carried a 15 pound french horn, a 20 pound back pack, a 2 pound gym bag and a little athletics bag. Just deal, it’s a part of life.

If you have the belt that goes across your front, use it. They might look stupid, but they help to distribute the weight across your whole body, not just your upper back. Particularly useful when you have to walk long distances.

use a backpack and even out the weight with a tote or shoulder bag or something or use another bag.
