i got accepted into that program. what they told me was that the homework was not actually a lot more than regular classes, but that in-class discussions had more depth. for example, in a regular level class, it would be difficult to break down the hidden meanings of shakespeare plays so that EVERYONE was on the same page and understands. but in the ib class, you can delve right into it, because everyone is intelligent and capable. you just need to stay organized and complete the assignments you are given carefully, being sure they are checked over.
