How do you think physical edcucation effects education?

Can you think of any differences children in children’s academic levels who have phys ed, and the ones who don’t?

Greatly. It seems that so many kids nowadays would be happy just to go to school and sit all day and come home and sit around all night. Kids seem so less active than kids were years ago, so mandatory physical education is more important than ever.

I think children who participate in team sports tend to develop more leadership skills and tend to interact better in groups. It also helps to change the way they see school, instead of thinking seeing it as ‘boring’, they learn how ‘fun’ it can be.

Sports can be used as a type of reward–they get to participate in if they pass and do well in their classes.

I think it effects the health of the kids who dont have it. The kids that do have it are healthier.
