How do you study for your exams? do you memories or just read ?
Favorite Answer
The whole point of exam is that u have memorised ur stuff. so that u have to do anyway.
Reading can be a way of memorizing. If u read over and over again, u should be able to memorize stuff. But if u cant, there are other ways. However remeber, that u MUST understand what u r trying to memorize. its easier then, although some people can do it without understanding a thing, but then youre just mugging and vomiting in the test, thats not helpful.
1. read over and over again. then close the book and recite to urself.
2. make notes of suff u dont get. re write. or make more notes about that one thing and go through YOUR notes.
3. get someone to quiz you or make a test for u and then u answer orally to them or write on that sheet.
and all the bet if ur exams are coming…..
I read over the material, make flash cards, make practice problems (for math), I make sample tests, and my mom usually helps me by quizing me over the material every other day.
I also check out books from the library to help me with specific subjects. If you look carefully, you can usually find a test book over a specific subject such as math or French.
I also check books out about the subject and just read. =]
Also when I study I make up random songs to the tune of my favorite songs.
They are usually really stupid, but for some reason it really helps me.
And everytime before the test, I start craming. I pick up a few of my notes and just start reading it over and over again.
For me, all of that helps. And my grades have always been straight A’s, with a B or C in math. =]
For instance:
Who wrote the Declaration of Independence?
and on the back of the paper on the same line I would put Francis Scott Key.
I found this method really works well.
Try to develope interest in the subject ..enjoy your studies
