In my opinion, you shouldn’t be scared. To me 8th grade was fun. And you shouldn’t be afraid of 8th grade because most likely the 6th && 7th graders are going to be more afraid of you. 8th grade on top =] Not every person has the same experience but 8th grade was the best year for me in middle school. And really to survive is to have fun (not too much fun haha) but since this is your last year at that school you might leave alot of your friends i did =/ but i enjoyed the year so it was cool. Hope this helps =]

Hey don’t worry, if people tell you that 8th grade was awful for them, know that everyone has a different experience with the grades. For me I loved 8th grade, I had the best teachers and definitely the best schedule. I haven’t gotten so lucky with scheduling since 8th grade. Definitely get involved in a club or on a team, it will make 8th grade a lot more enjoyable. Don’t worry though, its really not much different from 7th grade. Best of luck, and just relax

I thought it was the best year of middle school. You’ll get through, no matter how many ups and downs there are. the school work won’t be too different from 7th grade, and you’re probably more prepared than you were last year.

And at the end, you’ll see that you were fine, and knowing that will probably help if you’re nervous about high school too.

You’re at the top of the school! enjoy it!

i just finished 8th grade and truly it was the best year yet.

all you have to remember is to be nice and confident and mature. people look up to you.

dont worry its not scary, its EXCITING!

and it really flies by.

if your school goes on class trips and stuff, you really get closer with your classmates. also, if you graduate at the end of 8th grade (maybe your school goes straight to gr.12? idk), its very very very amazing 🙂 i wasseriously balling.

and the work isn’t much harder than 7th grade either. just watch out for math, i found it pretty challenging!

ahh great i have to start high school in a few weeks, im really nervous!

nahh. 8th grade was fun for me, except the fact I got home schooled half the year. But, everything is great. Your the top guns now. Just don’t try to be all tough and mighty, cuz I guarantee there will be tougher people telling you otherwise.

i was in 8th grade last year…it does seem like it would be very scary but after the first few days you will already be used to it and it will become your daily routine!!! also if you think of it this way, now you are at the top of middle school…the little seventh and sixth graders will be looking up to you.

I hated 8th grade….I survived it by knowing high school would be better and it was my last year of junior high. Sad to say, junior high is the toughest years of school I had. Just think, it’s the beginning to he end of it, and high school will be more fun!

no it’s not! haha u survived 7th, you’ll be fine. just know 8th grade is the year when everyone tries to find themselves and you’re going to lose and gain friends because of it. just relax, and be yourself. =]

Its fine. It prepairs you for what to expect in high school. The classes will be harder and you will have to do more work. Take it one step at a time and just go with the flow.

ugh.. grade 8.. it sucks sooo much, and they tell u that their preparing u for grade 9 (high school) but then all my friends r telling me grade 9 is wayyyy easier then grade 8 =]
