Here also are some tips.

Prioritize. Wisely choose which class to skip. You may be asking yourself “Which class do I hate most?” but that should not be the method of choosing a class. You must consider homework, the teacher, and if he or she does roll call or not, and of course the class itself. If you choose the wrong class, then you will get into trouble and most likely be grounded for a while.

Seek alternatives. Take into consideration any special events that are being held in your school (such as book fairs). You may want to ask if you could help them out during a class. If they agree, they will write you a note asking your teacher if you will be excused from that class, so you’ll have to predict if that certain teacher will agree or not.

Find a place to stay during that class period (such as staircase that is never used, less frequently used restrooms, an empty classroom, the gym, or study hall). Ideally, you want to find some place off-campus, such as a nearby store or a friend’s house. Having a transportation makes this much easier. Consider how many people frequent this area. You don’t want teachers or your school staff showing up at this location.

Leave early. Leave about 2-3 minutes before that class period is over to avoid others seeing you leaving the area.

**Plan and organize it ahead of time.

Get a friend to bunk with you.

If you’re only only skipping one class, and you’re walking around in the halls (whether you have a pass or not) and you see a teacher/principal/administrator walking past or near you, start to talk about school related stuff or something intelligent.

**Avoid your principal! That is the worst person to bump into, for obvious reasons.

If you are found out, do not deny it. You may just get into more trouble.

Be wary… remember, if you are caught, the consequences can range from detention to a phone call home to being suspension.

If you make a habit of doing this and you are caught repeatedly, you could be expelled.

If they contact your parents by phone to inform them of punishment, then there is no way out of it. If they send it in the mail you can just check the mail (if possible) and throw the letter away.

Some schools take attendance every period. If this the case with your school, skipping class unnoticed is not possible, so don’t bother trying.

However, in my high school you get one day ISS and grades are dropped by a third for every unexcused absence. So it may be that if you dont have a note from a parent the next time you go to class, they will drop your grades.

If your in middle school, grades pretty much dont matter so go for it.
