How can i make my language more descriptive while writing essays?
english is my second language and being in high school makes it hard for me to write essays and stuff. Please help?
i do try using thesaurs bt its jsut that if i use thesaurs for everyword then it wn’t sound much natural!

Ok. Stop and think about what you’re trying to write about it. Then think about how you could explain that to somebody who was only using one of the five senses (touch, smell, taste, sight, sound). For example, if I were writing about a party, I would describe it like this:
Sight: Lots of people, bright colors, gifts with shiny bows, large room
Sound: Laughter, People talking, shoes clicking across the floor, Music
Taste: Delicious food, sweet ice cream and cake, Tangy punch
Smell: Perfume, freshly baked cake
Touch: Soft chairs, cool tiled floor, soft skinned girls (or toughed skinned boys)
For better descriptive words (cool shirt, shiny glass): You need better adjectives. Think of words you use a lot in your native language and translate them.

Use nouns you will routinely use, yet use greater adjectives. as a replace of: I walked down the sidewalk. Say: I walked west on the cracked sidewalk. (as an occasion) you do no longer continually want a observe checklist, purely greater description.

use more adjectives…u can use your natural voice…just think of more ways of saying the same thing…
