How can I get good at Chemistry?

I’m a junior college student who has stayed away from chem because of an 88 average that I got from High School chem. Yeah, I know, kinda dumb reason, but true. Now, I’m looking to get into med. school so I have to get good at this stuff.

I love chemistry, but I’m really bad at it. Heck, I can ace every class except for chem. My Calculus 4 class seems way easier to me than Chemistry 101!!! I just don’t get chemistry!!!! I would go to my Chemistry teacher for help, but she seems to be busy all the time. Is there a good website for this subject?

Here is a website that I use sometimes for chemistry information. It is not a substitute for class but it does help. I am in a similar situation as you; I waited till almost out of school to take this course. On average I spend about 20 hours a week studying just Chem. and I take 15 CR. Also check the student services center I know that most schools have TA’s that are for Chemistry only. Hope this helps and good luck!
