Honors classes question?
I’m entering 8th grade next year, and I took Math 7 in 7th grade. I got a B+ as a final grade (I got 3 B+’s and 1 A), but my dad talked to the school and I’m going to be in Algebra I Honors instead of Math 8.
What are the major differences between Algebra I Honors and Math 8?

this is good! you are getting ahead of the game. Algebra will count as honors algebra on your highschool transcript, so make sure you do good. math 8 will count nothing towards highschool, so if you are smart enough, why bother with math 8. And later in high school, your senior year will let you take an even higher math course (or another elective or go home early) since you got algebra out of the way early in middle school. This is a good opportunity!

Means that you will be in Geometry Freshmen year instead of Algebra I.
