From my experience the AP classes are a little harder with a lot more work. A lot more homework and tests than the normal classes. It shouldn’t be too late to get it changed just call your school if you don’t know exactly who to call and they’ll get you all straightened out.

I took my first AP class during my sophomore year and really enjoyed it. One of my AP teachers also taught in a college and said AP’s can be harder than the college equivalent. The reason is that passing the AP exam means that you have to know enough to pass in any college that accepts certain AP scores. Since different colleges have different syllabi and material they cover, you need to know it all for an AP class to count at all of those colleges. I loved AP’s because only the serious students took them. You have to work but you’ll have to work in college and in life. I don’t know if it’s too late to change your schedule. It depends on your school’s policies but at my high school we could change classes at any time during the year as long as we could make up the work.

AP classes are similar to college classes. You must ask yourself, are you ready to read, read and read some more? That is what most college classes are like. Reading is fundamental but it is the cornerstone of the college class.

It is never too late change your schedule. Just put in the time and effort, you should be fine.

Good Luck!

Well….if you really up to the work Ap is a alot more challenging (at least in my school) but i see it as more beneficial….and if you want to cjange some classes just see your guidance counseler on the first day of school and explain to her your situation….she should be glad to help you out and set you up with a great schedual.

Usually, schools are open 2 weeks before they start. You can go in and talk with your councilor about your AP classes.
