high school graduation feelings…hello…..i attend an all boys high school?
Even though im not a “tough macho guy”, or a “sensitive new age guy” i really saw some emotions on the teachers eyes.
Some teachers have taken the same role class for the past 3 years….im serious it looks like those tough football teachers were about to break down.
can anyone explain why graduation is such an emotional time?
Like out of 120 boys, Id say 119 brought cameras to take pictures of everyone. The whole group of boys sang and celebrated together including me.
Like, Ive had the same english teacher for the past 2 years. Shes a great teacher, works really hard to get our class to perform. She gave everyone a card, and I nearly broke down while she started talking to me. After the dinner she hugged me, and now i feel like theres a funny feeling inside me.

Many teachers can be considered in the same way that parents are considered. They have known you for a number of years and have seen you learn, grow and mature, They are proud of your accomplishments and the tears represent both the pride and the realization that they will not see you again.
You probably feel in much the same way. You have gotten to know the teachers and you have learned over the years how much they care for you and that feeling is reciprocated.
You have indeed been fortunate in being in such a small school and having such caring and dedicated teachers.
