First of all, I would have a talk with your grandmother. Express your interest in going to the private, all-girls school. And then ask her what she wants you to do. Because now is the time to be thinking about what you want to do with your future. As for those reps, if they ever have time when they sit in a counselor’s office, go in and ask questions.

As for looking at other schools, arrange to visit on open house dates or even shadow a ninth grader for a day. Get to know the schools in your area before you make your final decision. It’s what my parents had me do.

As for the placement tests, I would seriously go online and try and find practice tests. If your book has a website, visit it and see what it has to offer. Sometimes they might offer study guides or outlines, things you might need to know.

I know getting into high school can be a terrifying prospect. If you’re not smart, you are. You have subjects I’m sure you’re better at than others. Just find something that suits you. Private schools oftentimes have better cirriculums because they can afford the art and music programs, science programs, etc. Find something that you’re good at and go from there. You’re obviously interested in going to this school, so getting in may not be a problem if you’re passionate enough to try.

Good luck!

im in eighth grade and im going to a NORMAL highschool. there is HARDLY a difference between catholic schools and public schools.

the main differences is that catholic schools have more discipline and less drug/gang related issues. i personally feel that i can get through highschool without being interupted by that stuff. i know im a strong person and i do not need anything blocking my way for me to make it in life. as long as you believe you will do good, and you push yourself hard, you will make it.

forget about those friends, and im gonna cry like a baby when i leave eighth cuz of my friends, but hey life goes on. you probably wont see them again after highschool. in college, everyone goes their seperate ways. you can always keep in touch with them.

im very happy and impressed that there is another kid as young as me wanting to make it in life. i wanna get far, and obviously so do you. i wish you the best luck. dont waste your money in catholic schools. anyways, the highschool im going to came in 2nd place for test scores in our area. and in 1st place, was another PUBLIC school. not a catholic/private school.

good luck hun

Senior High institution is the distinctive identical factor as High institution, simply an extra identify. Like in my the town we now have Austin Senior top (top institution) and Austin junior top (core institution).
