im a freshman in high school so i just got done the eighth grade. like you, i took advanced classes. the only advice i have to give you is DONT STRESS. pay attention in your classes and you will do fine. advanced classes are also ways to make new friends. if you are planning on taking AP classes in high school as well, the kids that are in your classes this year are most likely going to be there with you throughout high school. make the best and the most of it, and good luck.

You must be very intelligent to be taking advanced courses. My advice is although you may have plenty of homework, don’t stay up too late because you won’t be able to pay attention in class the next morning. Get plenty of rest and exercise, attend some social events and just enjoy being in the 8th grade. Don’t stress over your grades too much and have fun.

i just got out of 8th grade and am dealing with the same prob as u but with high school. so i have some tips. chances are youre gonna get split up with ur best friends so dont be all depressed if they stop hanging out with you. and im not saying that in a bad way cause im sure youll make tons of more friends. and DONT try to be popular. popularity is an illusion. the more u try. the less u are. its as simple as that. and remember BE YOURSELF. dont care if ppl call you weird its their problem not yours. and if people are bugging you just ignore them theyre probably just jealous. if u have more questions just ask. =]

Well I am no longer is school and its been a while but the only way I made it through the years I was in school, was to take it one step at a time. Dont try to take on too much at once. Get you homework in on time. And never be absent unless you have to because your sick. Good luck

been there. Im a smart as muthafukka too. Or i was. but yeah, if you LIKE hw, then you will have no prob. if you are a procrastinator and hate hw, then you are basically ******. It all depends. do you know what you want to do in life? if its some doctor, lawyer shiit, then you stay in them classes. but if its something like nurse, teaching or whatever, then just get out of them classes, go to the normal ones, and be top of the class. thats the american way.

First of all, don’t panic. What you have to do is to be confident in yourself. Don’t hesitate to ask your teachers about anything you didn’t understand. Most importantly, never leave your work for tomorrow.

even if you’re in advanced classes, enjoy eighth grade before you have to go to high school and college
