Finally in my experience I dropped the music. I was in a very advanced grade (8th) at the Conservatory and I studied Physic Science in College. My mother, my piano teacher and many people cried about my decision but I need to live other things that my study and be the owner of my time.
Maybe you will drop ‘something’ ‘sometime’, don’t blame yourself, this is what life is.
A year ago my husband gave me as a birthday present a piano and I have played it for my own since. I am going to class and some friends had offered me to play in concerts.
I love piano, it gives me peace and make me express my feelings.
So, you will take the better way to move along all your activities the most, and when time comes to make a choice do it with the heart and love it.
Good luck.

If you start out this strained early in life, it will weigh out on your future.
Talk to your parents and/or guidance counselor to see if there is anyway you can drop those classes without hurting your grades at all. Or maybe to find another solution.
But don’t just sit there and let your grades go down and explain after the fact that you couldn’t handle it all. It looks like your just making excuses. You need to tell them now so they can help you.
You know?
remember, its not ALL about grades =]
