Great schools for future Social Workers? Alum–please help :)?

I am currently a junior at Millersville University in PA. I just switched from being an education major to social work. This means I will be at MU an extra year. I’ve been thinking of switching schools for awhile now, I’m simply just not happy at MU. I’m looking for an urban area PA university with a spectacular social work program…any suggestions?

Temple University is certainly in an urban area of PA. It is not supposed to be safe especially at night.

www.temple.edu

And here is a website that may offer other resources to search which schools in pa offer social work: www.bls.gov/oco and search ‘social worker’. Just fyi, most social workers need their master’s degree (MSW) to become licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) for a broader choice of jobs and if they would like to eventually start their own practice.
