Math comes easy to me, I home school my children; two struggle with math, and two breeze through it.

You may not have a natural ability for math, but that does not mean you can not get through it.

Even though you are in a conventional school my advise would be to get the Key books, these are simple math work books that tackle each concept individually so you can practice what you have trouble with.

If you think summer school will help, by all means go for it.

Many parents who have their children in schools use home school work books to give their children extra practice materials when they need it.

You can also look into a tutor, many times I have found when I tutor children that they do not have trouble with math as much as they do not understand the vocabulary, or the teacher was not able to break it down so the student could grasp the materials.
