I’m going into high school too this year, and I’m nervous I guess, but more excited. I think it’ll be better, because at my middle school, they don’t really have like sports and clubs, like high school does. I’m usually on the computer everyday, and I really want to do stuff to keep me busy, and high school probably will. Some of my older friends say that the older kids sometimes will try to get you lost by giving you the wrong directions, and they’ll yell at you if your slow going up the stairs and just walking. Some said they say minor stuff like stupid little kids and stuff, but whatever, I don’t really care. Oh, and I guess they don’t like annoying freshman that think their so cool, and hang out in these big groups, but I can’t really generalize. OOH yay I’m excited dsadisandnsakld! Oh yes and people say the work is more stressful, but other than that it’s fun I guess for some.

Study hard, but remember to have fun. Watch out for some upper class-men (You’ll know who after the first week.) If you need help or have questions ask a teacher. Be prepared for class; you’re not in grade school anymore. Try to get involved with either an extracurricular or co-curricular activity. This is a great way to meet people. Avoid the “dangerous” clicks. Remember to be yourself and that these are the best years of your life.

It’s only worse if your teachers do not actually teach. I am an AP/Honors student and my teachers never teach us (we all agree). All they do is tell us, “You’re an Honors Student, you should know this stuff…teach yourself.” I am going into my Senior year and I cannot wait to get out…college is awaiting me!!!

As for advice…all I have to say is do your work and save all of your extra efforts for college…that is where it will all matter and be noticed!
