For teachers and students did your school observe September 17.?

2004- U.S. Congress passed a law requiring schools to observe September 17 Constitution Day by using the day to teach about the Constitution.

Yes we did here in Connecticut. In every social studies class we had some sort of activity for it that varied by teacher and there was a video on the morning announcements with interesting facts. Like most adults can name 2 of the seven dwarfs, but can’t name 2 supreme court justices. There were others I don’t quite remember that were pretty funny as well.

Well I’m taking goverment and all we have been doing since that first day of school(September 6) is learning about the constitution. I’ve learned a lot so far. I really like learning about it. : )

Yes, my school explained the day and we went over the constitution. I live in Texas. Houston to be more specific. I remember doing it last year too. I’m a senior now.
